French Harbour Water Skiing 1961

This is a video of a 19-year-old me skiing in the harbor of French Harbour. And my cousin Patsy had recently dyed my hair jet black.

An 8mm camera that I bought at a shop in Tampa for $15 captured the footage.  The cameraman was a friend from the Cayman Islands, named Inis McTaggart. He visited the islands to do eye tests and to make eyeglasses for those who needed. My first cousin, Doyle, and his wife were the couple in the boat towing me. 

It seems like it was yesterday.
